01
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how League Assistant (the “Service”) handles information when the bot is installed in or used through a Discord server. It applies to players, team managers, server administrators, and other members who interact with the Service.
02
Information we collect
The Service receives basic Discord data needed to identify users and operate in a server, such as Discord user IDs, display names, server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, message IDs, and permission or interaction metadata.
Information submitted by members may include EA game tags, platform, playing position, weekly availability, roster or Training Camp status, line assignments, emergency call-up records, ticket text, and responses to management workflows. Managers may configure season settings, deadlines, channels, roles, announcements, and other team information.
We may also keep operational timestamps, action history, and error details needed to maintain the Service and resolve disputes or technical problems. The Service is not designed to collect passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, or general private conversations.
03
How information is used
Information is used to provide the features requested by users and managers: building roster and availability reports, organizing lines, assigning configured roles, delivering reminders and announcements, contacting Training Camp players about emergency call-ups, handling private tickets, enforcing feature permissions, and maintaining reliable records.
We may also use limited operational information to secure, debug, improve, and prevent abuse of the Service. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
05
Direct messages and mentions
When managers use configured communication features, the Service may mention server members or send Discord direct messages—for example, an emergency ECU alert or a roster-wide notice. Discord users may control direct-message availability through their Discord settings. Failed delivery may be reported to managers.
06
Retention and deletion
Information is retained while it is needed to run the Service, preserve relevant team records, resolve problems, meet legal obligations, or prevent abuse. Weekly operational data may be reset or archived when managers advance the week. Some historical records may remain until the server stops using the bot or a valid deletion request is completed.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, it will be deleted or de-identified. Backup or log copies may persist for a limited period before routine deletion.
07
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with you. Submit a private ticket through League Assistant or contact your server’s management team and clearly identify the request. A manager can escalate operator-level requests to the Discord application owner. We may need to confirm your Discord identity before acting.
Some information may be retained where necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate team records. Server owners can stop new collection by removing the bot, but removal does not automatically erase existing stored information.
08
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including Discord permission checks and restricted management workflows. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Server owners should carefully configure channel permissions and management roles.
09
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone below Discord’s minimum permitted age in their country. We do not knowingly seek information from children who are not permitted to use Discord. If you believe such information has been submitted, contact server management so it can be escalated and removed.
10
Policy changes
This Policy may be updated as features, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain posted on this page. Material changes may also be announced through the bot or its support channels.
11
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, submit a private ticket through the bot, email the operator at RANKDHockey@outlook.com, or message CastroNY5166 on Discord (Discord user ID: 318193758992728068). You may also contact your server’s League Assistant management team and ask them to escalate the request to the bot operator.
